OUR STORY
Geard Dillon has been DJing since he was seventeen and has a lot of experience under his belt. In 1988 he was approached by the owner of the Castle Inn, Dungiven to cover a disco as the DJ had not turned up, so got together his record collection and played in front of a large crowd. Geard resides “It was extremely daunting have been thrown into the deep end, it was something I always wanted to do and it paid off.” This was the start of his DJing career and has not looked back since. For the next two years Geard played in the Castle every Friday night along with top bands in Ireland such as The Cheveys, Rock Stewart, and Luv Bug and so on. People where also approaching him to book Geard for Weddings, this is when he realised making people's wedding a success was the way to go.Through wedding's Geard found his love to entertain people with his own style of party games and good mix of music. Being the Bride & Grooms most important day of their lives he felt proud to be apart of this and repaid the complement by giving them the best party they could wish for.Ever since Geard has been playing all around the top hotels in Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland doing hundreds of weddings Geard really knows what makes a good wedding disco. Geard has also worked for the largest Agency in Northern Ireland for three years and it was then Geard decide to set up his own disco entertainment agency in the North West . (The fact being there was none!) Attending wedding fairs in the Derry / Donegal the response has been phenomenal. People where surprised at how professional the service is. The Agency is into its fourth year now and growing faster than ever could have imaged and this is only the beginning. Geard firmly believes that the profession service you offer to the customer is key to any success.

Geard Dillon has been djing at weddings for the last eighteen years and is one of Ireland’s top personality djs, winning Northern Ireland’s DJ Of The Year at the age of seventeen, Geard is the DJ that ALL other DJs are talking about because he is simply in a league of his own.

Charlie Dillon otherwise known as Bill X is Geards Dillon twin brother. He has been a DJ for this last thirteen years, his career started back in the mid 90’s as a dance music DJ playing in all the major clubs and pubs in Northern Ireland, but his real passion was djing at weddings. He has been working with Geard Dillon Entertainments for the last three years and is one of the most professional Djs we have working with us. Charlie has always said that he is the one in the Dillon household to have the most musical knowledge and he prides himself on playing a great mix of music to suit all ages and tastes. His dynamic style of DJing can create a fantastic party atmosphere at any function, keeping the dance floor packed all night with happy guests.
